When I try to view the failed task call stack, I get a strange message:

Current call stack unavailable. This is an outdated version.

What does it mean and what should I update?

This means that the call stack we are currently showing is old, so the process may not be in this state currently. You could try setting the report_interval in the config to a lower value.
